This issue was observed on Oracle 10.2.0.4 on a Linux x86 server, but could occur on any release.
You are upgrading (running catupgrd.sql) and getting an internal error:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [audins()+1824] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to
object] [0x4]  
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
The function stack indicates the error is occurring when inserting an audit record
ksedst ksedmp ssexhd audins audone auddft opiexe opiosq0 opipls opiodr . . . . . .
You have moved the sys.aud$ table out of the system tablespace
You have a trigger defined on the aud$ table
