Goal

This document does not describe how to install/setup the IBM MQSeries Server nor the MQSeries Client software. It assumes a working connection from the machine that will get the DG4MQ installation and it can successfully get/put messages from/to the MQ Server.

The product Oracle Database Gateway for IBM MQSeries will be abbreviated to DG4MQ. No difference will be made between the "Server" or "Client" based MQ Installation as it has no real impact on the configuration of DG4MQ. In case it will be necessary, it will be referenced explicitly.

Although IBM Corporation renamed MQSeries to WebSphere MQ, the name used in this document will be MQ Series.
