Oracle Transparent Gateway for DB2 - Version: 10.1 to 10.2
The configuration is -
Microsoft Access on Windows
Oracle ODBC driver 10.2.0.3.0
RDBMS 10.2.0.3 on AIX
TG4DB2 10.1 or 10.2 on z/OS
IBM DB2 V8 on z/OS - with Unicode character set
A view is created in Oracle for a table in DB2 using TG4DB2.
A select from or an insert into the DB2 table from Access via the view and gateway works successfully.
An update of the table from Access gives the following error -
[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-02070: database <database_name> does not support SYS_OP_C2C in this context
is the name of the database link used to connect to the TG4DB2 gateway.
The same table in DB2 can be updated successfully from SQL*Plus using the same database link.
