This document would guide you to configure dispatchers for Real Application Cluster (RAC) database.

Following is the RAC sample configuration:

RAC Service Name:

Public Interface : (FQDN), node1 (hostname)

Virtual Interface: (FQDN), node1-vip (hostname)

Private Interface: (FQDN), node1-priv (hostname)

Instance: racdb1


Public Interface : (FQDN), node2 (hostname)

Virtual Interface: (FQDN), node2-vip (hostname)

Private Interface: (FQDN), node2-priv (hostname)

Instance: racdb2
