ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ptmak()+372] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x000000010] [] []
The stack traces of the error may vary.
You will likely see this statement in your trace file:
select dummy from dual where ora_dict_obj_type = 'TABLE';
Changes
The issue may be triggered by an upgrade or an import but there may be other potential triggers.
The problem has been seen when using the third party tool PL/SQL Developer v7.1.5.1397 with "Debug Preferences->Add Debug on Compiling* set.
