IMPDP RAISES ORA-03113/7445[KCBHXORO] AFTER TAKING TTS EXPDP AND RMAN CONVERT (Doc ID 578780.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

The following symptoms will be seen :-

a) An EXPDP action has been taken on source database with transportable tablespace options
b) RMAN convert tablespace operations have been performed ref <<Note:243304.1>>
c) On IMPDP we see something similar to :-

Export file created by EXPORT:V10.02.01 via conventional path
About to import transportable tablespace(s) metadata...
import done in WE8ISO8859P15 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
. importing SYS's objects into SYS
. importing SYS's objects into SYS
IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 3113:
"BEGIN sys.dbms_plugts.beginImpTablespace('<TSPACE_NAME>',9,'SYS',5,0,8192,1,"
"185977878999,1,2147483645,8,8,8,0,1,0,8,4170288880,1,34,191085,NULL,0,0,NUL"
"L,NULL); END;"
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 3113 encountered
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

d) In alert log we see similar to :-

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kcbhxoro()+23] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x006049000] [] []

e) Stack trace will be similiar to the following :-
