ORA-600 [kcbz_find_bpid_3] Error Executing A Complex Query (Doc ID 579799.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

ORA-600 [kcbz_find_bpid_3] error encountered when executing a complex query which access data from tablespaces of different block sizes.  The call stack will be something like:

      kcbz_find_bpid kcbzgb kcbzgm kcbzib kcb_prefetch kcbpioqWillWaitForIO kcbgtcr ktrget2 qeilbk1 qeilsr ...

The failing queries explain plan will also show use of a nested loops join, e.g.:
