Symptoms

Java source remains invalid after an ALTER JAVA SOURCE ... COMPILE; command

The following error is returned:

ORA-29535: source requires recompilation
The source cannot resolve import oracle.xml.xmlcomp.XMLCompress; and is failing at line
XMLCompress comp_CDS = new XMLCompress();
