Creating an mview over a dblink fails with ORA-942.

Testcase SQL:

create database link <DBLINK_NAME> connect to "<OWNER>" identified by "<password>" using '<CONNECT_STRING>';

select count (*) from emp@<DBLINK_NAME>;                             -- works

create materialized view mv_emp as select * from emp@<DBLINK_NAME>; -- fails


Error:

create materialized view mv_emp as select * from emp@<DBLINK_NAME> ;

ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
