a) The present document provides an example about how to emulate cooked OS files to be used as ASM disk on Windows.

b) Keep in mind using fake files (cooked files) for ASM diskgroups is not supported and ASM could not work as expected, this is only intended for testing and ASM learning. On production environments, real raw devices are required.
