If you are a vendor who provides a custom multi-lingual sort feel free to provide information on own technical notes about this for your customers.
Changes
Installation and use of a custom multi-lingual sort [*_M sorts] .
This means this can happen when
* you use a nlt file (lx32775.nlt for example) who defines a custom multi-lingual sort provided by a application vendor or created yourself and use Oracle Locale Builder to generate the needed files to add this to the ORA_NLS10 (By default : $ORACLE_HOME/nls/data) directory.
OR
* your application vendor provides you with the generated nlb file (lx32775.nlb for example) for the custom multi-lingual sort (and also the needed lx.dtd, lx0boot.nlb, lx1boot.nlb files).
