Symptoms

You may get the following errors during the export.

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 980 encountered
ORA-00980: synonym translation is no longer valid
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

SELECT comp_id, schema, status, version, comp_name
2 FROM dba_registry
3 ORDER BY 1;

COMP_ID SCHEMA STATUS VERSION COMP_NAME

JAVAVM SYS INVALID JServer JAVA Virtual Machine
