Purpose

On page 15-46 of the "DBMS Database Maintenance and Performance Guide" (Version 6.0), there is a discussion of the transaction duration display page from the DBO/SHOW STATISTICS command. The discussion does not explain the histogram. This article will give a brief description of the histogram screen of the DBO/SHOW STATISTICS utility.
