Symptoms

When you run a database application or perform an RMU/VERIFY, RMU/BACKUP or RMU/ANALYZE with Oracle Rdb or DBO/VERIFY, DBO/BACKUP or DBO/ANALYZE with Oracle CODASYL DBMS, you intermittently receive the following error messages:

The directory and the file exist, the protections are set properly, and rerunning the application sometimes succeeds. The AUTHORIZE quota FILLM and the SYSGEN parameter CHANNELCNT are sufficient.
