Purpose
Oracle Rdb can generate a bugcheck dump file when an exception occurs during database processing. Bugcheck dumps are text files containing the following information:
- Description of the environment (including process and system parameters).
- Copies of the call frame and stack.
- Other Rdb internal data structure information.
The cause of the exception could be a problem with the current processing environment (e.g. a quota problem) or a bug in the Oracle Rdb code.
