Symptoms

In Oracle RDBMS a database link is defined to go to an Rdb database via OCI Services for Rdb (formerly SQL*Net for Rdb7). An attempt to insert, update, or delete data in an Rdb table based on data in an Oracle RDBMS table results in the following error:
