RDBPROD: How to Disable the Oracle ODBC Driver for Rdb Login Dialog Box (Doc ID 69347.1)

Last updated on APRIL 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle ODBC Driver for Rdb - Version 2.10.17 and later
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

Symptoms

In some ODBC applications, you want to provide a custom login dialog box for users to enter username and password information. When you enter all the information correctly, the dialog box works as expected.

If you enter the username or password incorrectly, instead of returning control back to the program, the Oracle ODBC Driver for Rdb displays its own login dialog box.
