Symptoms
- ORA-09817: Write to audit file failed errors reported by background processes
(particularly PMON and CJQ0).
- You could see entries in the alert log file similar to:
Errors in file /orashare/devc/admin/ebix/bdump/ebix6_pmon_2015.trc:
ORA-09817: Write to audit file failed.
OR
Errors in file /orashare/devc/admin/ebix/bdump/ebix6_j000_2986.trc:
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 42811
ORA-02002: error while writing to audit trail
