Symptoms

Note: The solution provided in this document is only for Non-clusterware configurations (non-CRS).

After upgrade the CSS to release 10.2.0.4 or 11.1.0.X.0 (on AIX 5L) the CSS (Cluster Synchronization Service) is now running as root OS user (previously running as Oracle user).
