Entire Batch Of Messages Rolled Back On a Transformation Failure when using Propagation (Doc ID 729393.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2010
Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 126.96.36.199 to 188.8.131.52 - Release: 9.2 to 11.2 Information in this document applies to any platform.
When propagating messages if a message experiences a transformation failure then the entire batch of messages which was being sent at the time will be rolled back and the transformation code is invoked every time the rollback occurs.
If the transformation code is complex then this can be costly in terms of usage of system resources and will slow propagation down.
