ORA-07445[Kksmapcursor] in RAC Environment (Doc ID 730694.1)

Symptoms

This issue was observed on Oracle 10.2.0.4 64-bit on a Solaris 64-bit server.

The alert log shows this error:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kksMapCursor()+352] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mappedto object] [0x000000008] [] []
ORA-03135: connection lost contact




The failing statement in this case was an anonymous PL/SQL block from SQL Developer.

The function stack shows the eror is occurring when mapping a cursor to an address.

Changes
