Goal

This document helps to determine if your materialized view can use fast refresh or not by using the DBMS_MVIEW.EXPLAIN_MVIEW procedure. It will display the reason if fast refresh is not possible so it can be troubleshooted.

It only applies to Oracle 9i and above.
