Error ORA-01729 Encountered While Adding A REDO Collector (Doc ID 731593.1)

Oracle Audit Vault - Version: 10.2.2.1 to 10.2.3.
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

While adding a REDO colltype collector the following error occur: 

avorcldb add_collector -srcname db10203.xyz.net -srcusr  avcollusr/<passwd> -agentname avagt_oradsm5 -colltype REDO -collname REDO_DB10203_Collector @ -orclhome /u03/oracle/product/10.2.3 -av oradsm5:1523:audit.xyz.net

ERROR: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01729: database link name expected.

The log file avorcldb.log file shows the following messages:
