Symptoms

Customer has a 10.2.0.3.0 source database and two 9.2.0.8.0 destination databases

1. One capture at the source
2. Two propagation, to each destination
3. One apply at each destination

When he disables the second propagation listed in OEM, it disables the first one

DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS

DB3>SELECT PROPAGATION_NAME,STATUS FROM DBA_PROPAGATION;

PROPAGATION_NAME STATUS
------------------------------ --------
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE ENABLED
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1 ENABLED

Now disable STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE through OEM. It gets disabled properly

DB3>SELECT PROPAGATION_NAME,STATUS FROM DBA_PROPAGATION;

PROPAGATION_NAME STATUS
------------------------------ --------
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE DISABLED
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1 ENABLED

Enable it back

DB3>SELECT PROPAGATION_NAME,STATUS FROM DBA_PROPAGATION;

PROPAGATION_NAME STATUS
------------------------------ --------
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE ENABLED
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1 ENABLED

Now disable STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1 through OEM. It disables STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE
and not STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1.

DB3>SELECT PROPAGATION_NAME,STATUS FROM DBA_PROPAGATION;

PROPAGATION_NAME STATUS
------------------------------ --------
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE DISABLED
STRMADMIN_PROPAGATE1 ENABLED

The OEM also shows the same status .
