Symptoms

The alert log shows ORA-600 [17147] and/or ORA-600 [kgh*]/[[kksCallPopCallback] errors when executing a query, e.g.:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17147], [0x11061C7A8], [], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kghfrh:ds], [0x2A9733DF18], [], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kksCallPopCallback], [], [], [], [], [], [], []


OR

ORA-7445 [KKEIDC] Errors when running the SQL Access Advisor's index advisor (DBMS_ADVISOR)

The call stack for the ORA-600 [17147] error may resemble one of the following:  

... kghfrmrg kghfre kghfrh_internal kghfrh kkoFreePhyOptimSubHeap kkoqbc apakkoqb ...

    with corruption occurring in the "kxs-heap-c" heap.  

... kghfrmrg kghfre kghfrh_internal kghfrh kksCompileCallNotifier kscdnfy ksudlc ksupop kksPopCompileCall ...

    with the corruption occurring in the "top call heap" heap.

The call stack for the ORA-7445 will resemble:

kkeidc kketac kkonxc kkotap kkoiqb kkooqb kkoqbc apakkoqb apaqbdDescendents ...
