ORA-12650 Using SQL Developer with AES ASO Encryption Algorithms (Doc ID 736389.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
Server: Oracle10g R2 (10.2.0.4) on RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4.2
Client: SQL Developer 1.5.1 and Sqlplus on Windows

The database system has ASO encryption enabled using AES128. Able to connect in Oracle10g database using  Sqlplus. However, when they try using SQL Developer version 1.5.1 receive the following error message:

Error:
ORA-12650 No common encryption or data integrity algorithm

Current ASO Settings:

SERVER sqlnet.ora file:

SQLNET.ENCRYPTION_SERVER = required

SQLNET.CRYPTO_SEED = 'adsfasiedsafsdawersdafsa'

SQLNET.ENCRYPTION_TYPES_SERVER= (AES128)

Client sqlnet.ora file:
SQLNET.ENCRYPTION_CLIENT = required

SQLNET.CRYPTO_SEED = 'efarfEAZVretasrawerawr'

SQLNET.ENCRYPTION_TYPES_CLIENT= (AES128)
