You have a working DBLINK from Oracle RDBMS to Rdb using OCI Services. After making a metadata change to an Rdb table, any DML statement referring to the modified table via the DBLINK fails with:

ORA-09100: Target system returned following message:
%RDB-E-OBSOLETE_METADA, request references metadata objects that no longer exist
-RDMS-F-BAD_SYM, unknown field symbol - COL_D
ORA-02063: preceding 3 lines from OCI_712
