Direct Load With SQL*Loader Fails With ORA-00600 [klaevc_10] ORA-7445 [klaevc] (Doc ID 739386.1)

Symptoms

On a database version 10.2.0.4 a direct load with SQL*loader of a table that has:

- a LOB column
- a function-based index

fails with errors:

SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.
SQL*Loader-925: Error while uldlfca: OCIStmtExecute (ptc_hp)
ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.
SQL*Loader-925: Error while uldlgs: OCIStmtExecute (ptc_hp)
ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
SQL*Loader-925: Error while uldlgs: OCIStmtFetch (ptc_hp)
ORA-24338: statement handle not executed

Depending on the OS, in the alert log file error messages like the following are reported:

- Windows: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [klaevc_10], [245550], [66045]
- Unix (Solaris): ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [klaevc()+4528] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x2020202020202070]
