Symptoms

After an upgrade of a remote database to 9.2.0.8, an insert into a remote table with sub-query having an aggregate in the select list returns errors ORA-933 and ORA-2063.

The problem can manifest itself as Peoplesoft job syncing several tables between HR and Financial side is erroring with ORA-933.

Using SQLPLUS the SELECT within the INSERT without AGGREGATE is returning rows as expected.
