Symptoms


When performing DML and DDL against a partitioned table, an ORA-7445 [kauxs_do_journal()] error has been raised.

For example:

There are two sessions running concurrently, one doing inserts to a partitioned table, and the other doing partition maintenance operations such as INDEX REBUILD.

Call stack trace:
kauxs_do_journal kauxs_journal kauxsin insidx insrow insdrv inscovexe insExecStmtExecIningine insexe ...

Changes

 Database upgraded to 10.2.0.3, 10.2.0.4 and 11.1.0.6.
