You are using RDAC multipathing software for your ASM disks which is working fine.
Now you change the multipathing drivers from RDAC to native MPIO.
When attempting to startup ASM after this change the following errors occur:
ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15063: ASM discovered an insufficient number of disks for diskgroup "DATA"
ORA-15100: invalid or missing diskgroup name
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Have a working environment using RDAC multipathing drivers
2. Shut everything down and change the RDAC drivers by native MPIO drivers
3. Try to startup the ASM instance - you will not be able to see ASM disks
Change of the multipathing drivers for ASM disks from RDAC to native MPIO.
