Goal

The note explains the different authentication modes that can be created using DBMS_EPG and how to configure them.

Prerequisite for running the Embedded PL/SQL Gateway is that the Oracle Net Listener is able to accept HTTP requests. Please refer to <Note 743563.1> Prerequisites For Running The Embedded PL/SQL Gateway (EPG) / DBMS_EPG. There you can find a description how to check and enable the Listener.
