When trying to connect AS SYSDBA with Sqlplus on a Unix style system an ORA-12547 "TNS:lost contact" is signalled and a trace file is generated which contains an internal error as follows:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [spstp: ORACLE_HOME uid does not match euid], [xxxx], [yyyy], , , , , , , , ,

Current SQL information unavailable - no SGA.
Where xxxx (uid) is not equal to yyyy (euid), the call stack module is : spstp() .
The permission (chmod) settings on the oracle executable were changed.
