Symptoms

The following errors can occur while applying an Audit Vault patchset:

AVCA started
Disabling DV option ...
Starting Listeners...
done.
Starting Database...
done.
Upgrading AV schema...
Error executing task SQLPLUS_AVUPGRD: Invalid username/password or insufficient privileges
Error executing task upgrade_av_schema: Invalid username/password or insufficient privileges
Error executing task apply_patchset: Invalid username/password or insufficient privileges
Error while disabling DV option. java.lang.Exception.
Exiting Audit Vault Configuration Assistant




The Audit Vault Server installation can fail with the following error messages:

Changes

The installation user is not or no longer a member of the literal 'dba' group.
