Symptoms

The following symptoms have been attributed to this issue :-

a) The following error is seen in the alert log :-

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ksrchconnect1], [0x53AFF82D8], [0x53AF9BBB8], [2]

The arguments will vary but first argument will be [ksrchconnect1]

b) Traces are coming from the MMON process but could well be from another

c) The call stack trace will be similar to :-

Function List (to Full stack) (to Summary stack)
ksedmp <- kgerinv <- kgeasnmierr <- ksrchconnect_ctx
<- kebm_mmon_main <- ksbrdp <- opirip <- opidrv <- sou2o
<- opimai_real <- main <- start

The key function for this article to be considered is  'ksrchconnect_ctx', if this is not seen
in the stack the note is unlikely to provide a resolution.
