Impdp Logfile Reports Wrong Number of Row Imported For a Table If Using NETWORK_LINK

This problem can occur on any platform.


DataPump Import reports the wrong number of row for a specific table if the parameter NETWORK_LINK is pecified.

The DataPump Import parameters look like:

logfile=<file name>
network_link=<database link to the destination database>
tables=<table name>

An example of import log file:

Import: Release - 64bit Production on Monday, 24 November, 2008 9:24:37

SQL> select count(*) from PS_JOB;


As it can be seen, one record is reported as imported while 49543 are actually processed.
