Impdp Logfile Reports Wrong Number of Row Imported For a Table If Using NETWORK_LINK (Doc ID 752476.1)

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.2.0.4 to 11.1.0.8
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

DataPump Import reports the wrong number of row for a specific table if the parameter NETWORK_LINK is pecified.

The DataPump Import parameters look like:

directory=import_dir
logfile=<file name>
network_link=<database link to the destination database>
tables=<table name>
table_exists_action=replace



An example of import log file:

SQL> select count(*) from PS_JOB;

COUNT(*)
----------
49543

As it can be seen, one record is reported as imported while 49543 are actually processed.
