ORA-600 [Kcbgtcr_5] On a Query (Doc ID 753243.1)

A query fails with the internal error:
   ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcbgtcr_5], [164905], [0], [], [], [], [], []

In the trace file the statement looks like:

The call stack is:
   kcbgtcr ktecgsc ktecgetsh ktecgshx ktspfnsb ktspGetNextL1ForScan ktspGenExtentMap kteinmap
   kdselget kdstsne kdstsnb kdstgr qertbFetch opifch2 opifch

The table involved in the failing statement belong to a ASSM (Automatic Segment Space Management)

It's possible to veirfy it with:

  sql> select table_name, owner,tablespace_name from dba_tables where table_name='<table name>';
  sql> select tablespace_name, extent_management , segment_space_management from
         dba_tablespaces where tablespace_name='<from previous query>';
