Streams Apply Fails With ORA-7445 [kgscDump] and ORA-7445 [kxsxsi] (Doc ID 756686.1)

Symptoms

Streams Apply Reader process may abort due to ORA-7445 errors:

In the alert log you may see errors similar to:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgscDump()+438] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x000010019] [] []
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kxsxsi()+414] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x000100009] [] []
Streams Apply Reader P000 pid=... OS id=... stopped
ORA-10388: parallel query server interrupt (failure)

In the trace file you may see a Streams update with many bind variables:
