ORA-7445 [ sxorchk ] after moving database with tempfiles to another server (Doc ID 758024.1)

The issue may occur after copying a database and trying either to open the database on a new platform or to create new control files. During this operation, you can typically receive the following error (byte offset into the code may vary between versions and platforms):

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [sxorchk()+304] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0xFFFFFFFF7B280000] [] []


- Database has been moved to a new server
- Tempfiles have been moved with the database
