Symptoms

Many invalid objects with the format EXF$% under the SYS user:

i.e

EXF$INDEXOPER
EXF$ATTRIBUTE
EXF$ATTRIBUTE
EXF$ATTRIBUTE_LIST
EXF$ATTRIBUTE
EXF$ATTRIBUTE_LIST
EXF$TABLE_ALIAS
EXF$XPATH_TAG
EXF$XPATH_TAGS
EVALUATE_VV
EVALUATE_VA
.
.

After the run of the catexf.sql script, usually during the JVM installation.
