Symptoms

1. When trying to use datapump utility to expdp many tables with a parfile using the following command :

expdp parfile=expdp.par

Error message "UDE-00014: invalid value for parameter, 'tables'. " occurred.

2. Expdp log file displays the below messages :

"Export: Release 10.1.0.5.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 08 May, 2008 17:54
Copyright (c) 2003, Oracle. All rights reserved.
Connected to: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.5.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning and Data Mining options
UDE-00014: invalid value for parameter, 'tables'."

3. Expdp.par contents similar to :

USERID = test
DIRECTORY = data_pump_dir
DUMPFILE = test_%U.dmp
LOGFILE = test.log
PARALLEL = 4
INCLUDE = table, table_data
TABLES = 
table1 
table2 
table3 
......... 
......... 
......... 
.........
.........
.........
