ORA-15196 and ORA-600 [kfgpn::lclenq] Resizing Datafile or Dropping User

This problem can occur on any platform.
When attempting to resize datafiles stored in ASM instance the diskgroup is being taken offline. The same behavior is seen if a drop user cascade is issued on the database. The following errors are a sample of the errors that are being reported. Other errors include ORA-7445 errors.
