Impdp Fails With ORA-600 [KUPFIREADBZLOB] Using a Dump File Exported From z/OS

   Dumpfile exported with expdp on z/OS using compression cannot be imported on an ASCII platform (Unix / Windows) and vice versa. Impdp generates the ORA-600 [kupfiReadBzLob] error.  

   The generated trace file contains:
ksedmp: internal or fatal error 
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kupfiReadBzLob], [kgcddo error],  [19], [1], [2], [0], [], []

COMPRESSION=METADATA_ONLY is the default opition for expdp and each user who makes a cross-platform expdp/impdp between an EBCDIC platform and ASCII platform will run into this error.
