SQL*Loader Load Not Completing From a Runaway OWB Process (Doc ID 763381.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2009

Applies to:

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.2.0.3
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

An OWB ETL load job is being executed and takes an increasing amount of time to complete.  Monitoring the job you see that it is using a large amount of TEMP tablespace space.  Tracing the problem session suggests that it is trying to sort a large amount of data and insert into:

INSERT INTO WB_RT_AUDIT_STRUCT
    (RTT_IID, RTD_IID, RTT_PARENT_OPERATOR_UOID, RTT_PARENT_OBJECT_UOID,
     RTT_PARENT_OBJECT_TYPE, RTT_PARENT_OBJECT_LOC_UOID, RTT_PARENT_OBJECT_NAME,
     RTT_OBJECT_UOID, RTT_OBJECT_TYPE, RTT_OBJECT_LOC_UOID, RTT_OBJECT_NAME)
  VALUES (:B10 , :B9 , :B8 , :B7 , :B6 , :B2 , :B5 , :B4 , :B3 , :B2 , :B1 )
