Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the database was initially created under 9iR2 had Oracle Ultra Search installed in it.
Now the database has been upgraded to 10g or 11gR1 in an $ORACLE_HOME that did not have Ultra Search software installed and Ultra Search component has "NO SCRIPT" status in dba_registry.

select comp_name, version, status from dba_registry where COMP_ID='WK';

COMP_NAME                      VERSION          STATUS
------------------------------ ---------------- --------
Oracle Ultra Search            9.2.0.6.0        NO SCRIPT

How do we remove the Ultra Search objects within the database as we don't need this product and the deinstallation script, wk0deinst.sql, is not available ?
