ORA-7445 [ACCESS_VIOLATION] At Startup If audit_trail='XML' (Doc ID 763887.1)

An ORA-7445 error is reported to the alert.log during startup if parameter audit_trail is set to value 'xml' or 'xml, extended'. The instance will not startup.  The trace file generated by the error will have a truncated call stack section with no meaningful functions listed.
