RDBPROD: Trace Deinstallation Results in Users Unable to Attach to Rdb Databases

Oracle Trace (for Rdb) - Version 2.4.1 and later
HP OpenVMS Alpha


You manually deinstall Oracle Trace by removing all the Oracle Trace images and reboot your OpenVMS system. After the system reboot, no one can attach to any Oracle Rdb database.

You are able to issue an RMU/OPEN command only. Prior to the deinstallation, users were able to attach and use your Rdb databases.
