Symptoms

DataPump import (IMPDP) on 10gR2 takes more time when an Index Organized table exists and if you specify TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=TRUNCATE.

The slower performance is not seen when you drop the table and import it. Example:

Measure the time (performance) and you will see this time Import (DataPump Import) is faster.
