ORA-00600 [15815] Running A Query With Order By DBMS_RANDOM.RANDOM (Doc ID 781668.1)

Symptoms

o Running a query with order by dbms_random.random fails with following error:

select * from parcel order by dbms_random.random;

ORA-600: internal error code, arguments: [15815], [12], [376], [355], [], [], [], []


o Alert log shows:

ORA-600: internal error code, arguments: [15815], [12], [376], [355], [],
[], [], []


o Call stack trace is similar to:
