Logminer is Slow When Using Informatica PowerExchange (Doc ID 782094.1)

Symptoms

Installed Informatica's PowerExchange Oracle CDC product which uses Oracle Logminer to extract the logged data. When the source database is being updated by a program, the Logminer session appears to be very slow or hang.
When the data from the program is completely logged the Logminer session extracts the data very quickly.
